Magnum Opus Donors

Central Coast Wine Classic

The Symphony is honored to be a 2007 beneficiary of the Central Coast Wine Classic.  These funds will support the orchestra's June 8, 2008 debut performance at Walt Disney Concert Hall.  The 2008 Central Coast Wine Classic will take place July 10-13, 2008.

City of San Luis Obispo
The City of San Luis Obispo awards grant funds to the Symphony and other non-profit institutions each year based on the individual organization’s benefit to residents, the accessibility and uniqueness of their events and the tourism promotion they may offer to the city. This season the City of San Luis Obispo has not only funded local promotions of the Symphony’s concerts and events, but has also stepped in with additional funds to help promote the Symphony at Walt Disney Concert Hall.

First Bank of San Luis Obispo

First Bank of San Luis Obispo has been a Symphony Season Sponsor for almost ten years and this year they are also generously sponsoring the Symphony's debut at Walt Disney Concert Hall.

The Marcled Foundation
Many thanks to the Marcled Foundation and Mary & Tony Bianco for a generous grant funding a part-time staff position in the areas of Marketing, Special Events and Development.

Rabobank

For over 10 years, the folks at Mid-State Bank & Trust, now Rabobank, have sponsored the Symphony's No Ties Allowed! FREE Dress Rehearsals at the Performing Arts Center. This year they're also sponsoring the Apex for Kids Children's Concerts bringing great music to all ages!

San Luis Obispo County
Community Foundation
The Symphony computer database upgrade in 2006-2007 was funded by the Art Inspires! Fund for the Arts at the San Luis Obispo County Community Foundation.

In 2007-2008, the Art Inspires! Fund will build much needed storage space at the Symphony office for musical instruments and more.  The Symphony is very grateful to the Community Foundation for these capacity-building grants that support organizational needs.

2007-2008 Season Sponsors
Many thanks to these generous sponsors who make the music happen every year.  We encourage you to support the businesses who support the Symphony whenever you can.
